These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at hanfordfence.com and any fence contracting services provided by Total Hanford Fence ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
By using this website or requesting services from Total Hanford Fence, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use this website or engage our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Total Hanford Fence is a licensed fence contractor based in Hanford, CA. We provide residential and commercial fence installation, repair, replacement, and related services throughout Kings County and surrounding communities in the Central Valley.
Our services are performed by qualified professionals in accordance with applicable California building codes and regulations. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion, including projects that fall outside our service area or scope of work.
All estimates provided by Total Hanford Fence are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Written estimates reflect the scope of work described therein. Any changes to the scope of work - including unforeseen site conditions, additional materials, or customer-requested modifications - may result in a revised estimate before work continues.
Free on-site estimates carry no obligation to proceed with services. Estimates are generally valid for 30 days from the date issued, after which pricing may be subject to change due to material cost fluctuations.
We will communicate any pricing adjustments in writing before additional charges are incurred. Verbal agreements regarding pricing are not binding unless confirmed in a written estimate or contract.
Scheduling is subject to availability. We will confirm your appointment date and provide a reasonable notice of any changes caused by weather, crew availability, or other circumstances outside our control.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations after work has commenced may be subject to charges for materials ordered and labor performed to that point.
We reserve the right to reschedule jobs affected by severe weather, unsafe site conditions, or other circumstances that would prevent safe and quality workmanship. We will make every reasonable effort to reschedule promptly.
Payment terms are specified in your written estimate or project agreement. A deposit may be required before work begins, particularly for larger projects involving significant material orders. The remaining balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate. Invoices that remain unpaid past the due date may be subject to late fees and collection procedures as permitted under California law.
In accordance with California mechanic's lien law, we reserve the right to file a mechanic's lien against your property for unpaid services and materials. We will provide required preliminary notices as required by California law.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property, including property lines, the location of underground utilities, irrigation systems, and any relevant HOA restrictions or permit requirements. Failure to disclose known conditions that affect the project may result in additional charges.
You are responsible for obtaining any required HOA approvals before work begins. We will assist with permit applications as part of the project, but you are responsible for ensuring that your project complies with any private CC&Rs or HOA rules that govern your property.
We stand behind our workmanship. Any warranty details - including duration and coverage - will be specified in your written project agreement. Workmanship warranties generally cover defects in installation but do not cover damage caused by acts of nature, vandalism, improper use, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.
Material warranties are governed by the manufacturer of the materials used. We will assist you in pursuing manufacturer warranty claims where applicable, but we do not independently guarantee materials beyond any warranty provided by the manufacturer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Total Hanford Fence's liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services or this website is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of property value, lost profits, or damages arising from delays beyond our reasonable control. Some states do not allow certain limitations on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
The content on hanfordfence.com is provided for general informational purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, we make no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of website content. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer or guarantee of service availability or pricing.
We prefer to resolve any disputes directly and informally. If you have a concern about our services, please contact us at the information below and we will work in good faith to reach a resolution.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any other legal remedy. Any legal proceedings that cannot be resolved through mediation will be subject to the governing law and venue provisions in Section 11.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms that proceed to litigation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Kings County, California.
